Football NSW, HFI and GlenhavenFC would like to remind everyone involved in our game of their responsibility in creating a safe and supportive environment during football activities.
We have a zero-tolerance stance for ANY negative behaviour towards ANY referee or official, and together with HFI we will impose strict sanctions on those that do not comply.
As a spectator if you hear someone from your team yelling at the referee remind them that it’s NOT OK and ask them to be quiet.
As a coach or manager, if you see a player disrespecting the referee take them off the field and have a chat about RESPECT.
Most importantly remember that it’s our parents, coaches and managers that will have the biggest influence on our children’s future behavior towards referees and officials. So please, always be a good role model.
